Who we are

This website is run by Aivhy Ltd (Gzira, Malta, company number C 97081) together with Aivhy B.V. (Enschede, the Netherlands, KVK 42082322). Aivhy Ltd is responsible for the personal data processed through this website. If you contact Aivhy B.V. directly, Aivhy B.V. is responsible for that correspondence. You can reach us at info@aivhy.com.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server records each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser. We use these logs to keep the website secure and running and to investigate misuse, which is our legitimate interest under the GDPR. We delete them after at most 90 days, unless we need them longer to investigate an incident.

Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this website, so we can improve it. Google Analytics only runs after you accept it in the cookie banner. It then places two cookies, _ga and _ga_[ID], which expire 2 years after your last visit. You can withdraw your consent at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page, which also removes these cookies. This does not affect data collected before you withdrew it.

Google Ireland Limited processes the data for us and may also use it to improve its own services. Read how Google uses this data. The data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and is deleted at most 14 months after your last visit.

Emails and job applications

If you email or call us, we use what you share to answer you, follow up and manage our business relationship with you, based on our legitimate interest or to prepare an agreement you asked about. We keep this correspondence for up to 3 years after our last contact, or longer if the law requires it or we need it for a legal claim.

If you apply for a job, we use your application to assess it, as a step towards an employment contract. Afterwards we keep it on file for up to 1 year to consider you for future vacancies, which is our legitimate interest. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

We share personal data only between Aivhy Ltd and Aivhy B.V., with service providers such as our hosting and email providers, which process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement, and with authorities where the law requires it. If data is processed outside the EEA, safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses apply.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Email info@aivhy.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity and will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can resolve it. You can also complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta or the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or practices change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
