A machine completes an order. A camera records an inspection. An operator approves the next step. Aivhy connects these activities in one company-wide digital ecosystem, from order to delivery and from the shop floor to the boardroom. Solace’s event broker enables bi-directional data exchange within Aivhy’s architecture.
The existing partnership combines Aivhy’s Industrial Intelligence solutions with Solace’s real-time data platform. OpenIIoT Ltd, Aivhy’s sister company, develops all software products used within Aivhy’s solutions. Aivhy designs and implements the complete solution around the customer’s operation, integrating Solace as its event brokering component.
One architecture for the whole operation
Aivhy starts with how a company actually works. Its architecture brings four environments together through a central DataHub.
The operational technology (OT) environment includes modern and legacy machines, production lines, sensors, cameras and moving assets. Integration modules make their data available to the wider operation and support-controlled communication back to equipment where required.
The information technology (IT) environment includes ERP, MES, warehouse and quality systems, databases and cloud services. These systems exchange relevant information through the same foundation, connecting business records with what is happening on the floor.
The human environment includes operators, maintenance teams, managers and other decision makers. Through role-based interfaces on computers, tablets and handheld devices, people receive tasks, enter information, record checks and approve actions. Their input becomes part of the connected process. Dashboarding and data analytics give teams real-time insight into operational performance and help them identify issues and make informed decisions.
The artificial intelligence (AI) environment provides a chat-based interface to connected assets and processes. AI can analyse operational data, automate tasks and carry out audits. It can also create user interfaces and update processes through AIVHY’s BAS, with validation and approval steps defined in the workflow. These capabilities are natively integrated into the same digital ecosystem, allowing AI to work with the relevant operational context.
Solace connects events across the ecosystem
Within Aivhy’s architecture, Solace provides a powerful event broker with support for a wide range of APIs and protocols, and world-class support. Connected modules publish events, and authorized applications subscribe to the information they need. One event can serve several purposes without a separate direct connection between every system.
Solace supports MQTT 3.1.1 and 5.0 for IoT, REST and WebSocket for web and cloud applications, and JMS, JCA and AMQP for enterprise integration, alongside Spring framework integrations. Cross-protocol interoperability lets applications exchange information using different interfaces. These open APIs and protocols reduce platform and protocol lock-in while retaining the support of a commercial broker.
Aivhy provides the industrial integration, process digitalization, AI and operational applications around that exchange. Shared data definitions and a Unified Namespace give events consistent context. Storage services preserve the records required for traceability and reporting. Solace distributes the events; Aivhy connects them to the processes where they are used.
Connecting technology with daily work
AIVHY’s BOS, the Business Operating System, provides a wider digital foundation connecting machines, systems, people and workflows. Existing systems can remain in place, with Aivhy adding the functionality and handovers needed across them, digitalizing the processes, and natively integrating AI across them.
Consider a product that requires inspection before shipment. A camera identifies it and publishes the inspection result. The relevant operator receives a task, reviews the result and records a decision. The approved outcome can update the quality record and inform the warehouse system that the product is ready for dispatch. Machine data, software and human judgement contribute to the same traceable process.
The same foundation can connect maintenance activities, material movements, location tracking and planning. AIVHY’s BAS (Business Administration System) integrates AI into these operational workflows. AI-generated actions and process updates follow the validation and approval steps defined in the process.
Complementary solutions that can grow together
A focused implementation can expand to additional processes and sites. Solace’s interconnected brokers can form an event mesh across on-premises, cloud and edge environments. Aivhy’s modular architecture extends the operational capabilities around it, with access controls and resilience designed for the customer’s requirements.
Companies can start with a specific operational need and expand the same connected foundation across IT, OT, people and AI, without replacing everything at once.
About AIVHY
Aivhy is an Industrial Intelligence Company helping manufacturing and logistics businesses digitalise around their own processes. We connect machines, systems, people and workflows in one digital ecosystem, with industrial AI as an integrated part. Existing systems can remain in place. This helps businesses reduce manual work, gain real-time insight and expand step by step.
About Solace
Solace provides a platform for real-time data and agentic AI. Its technology connects existing business systems, cloud services, devices and AI agents, allowing events and information to flow across the enterprise. Solace Platform combines an event mesh, stream data processing, agentic processing and governed access to data. This enables applications, people and AI agents to work with current information and respond to events as they happen.
